Dr. Kolette Butler, JD, PsyD

I began my career as a teacher and attorney before becoming a psychologist—a shift inspired by personal experience when a family member’s struggle with serious mental illness made me determined to offer better care than what was available. That commitment continues to guide my work today.

At Verdant Hope Therapy & Evaluations, I work with teens and adults navigating life transitions, family estrangement and dynamics, faith transitions, adult neurodivergence, Borderline Personality Disorder, and trauma, including PTSD. I am trained in DBT, EMDR, IFS, EFT, trauma-informed care, and forensic-informed treatment. I am deeply committed to training and supervising other clinicians to offer the same excellence and care at Verdant Hope.
