DBT Adult Skills Group

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals develop practical skills to manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and respond to life’s challenges with greater balance and awareness.

What you will learn:

  • Mindfulness: Learn how to slow down, notice what’s happening in your body and mind, and stay present—especially during stressful moments.

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness: Build skills to communicate more clearly, set boundaries, and strengthen relationships while respecting your own needs.

  • Distress Tolerance: Develop tools to get through difficult moments and high stress without making the situation worse.

  • Emotion Regulation: Understand your emotions and learn ways to reduce emotional overwhelm so feelings feel more manageable.

Each DBT module is offered as a 6-week standalone group, allowing participants to enroll in one or multiple modules based on their goals.

Big Feelings, Brave Kids

This group helps children (ages 7-10) understand their feelings, calm their body and mind, and grow confidence and resilience.

Kids will learn to:

  • Notice and name feelings and understand how they show up in their bodies.

  • Use coping skills and strategies to stay calm when emotions feel big.

  • Build confidence, solve problems, and bounce back from challenges with resilience.

This fun, interactive 6-week group helps kids practice coping skills, friendship strategies, problem-solving, and goal-setting in a safe, supportive space.

Couples Communication Group

This group is a structured, skills-based communication group designed to help couples strengthen how they talk through everyday issues and conflict.This group helps children (ages 7-10) understand their feelings, calm their body and mind, and grow confidence and resilience.

What you will learn:

  • Practical communication tools to improve listening, express emotions more clearly, and feel better understood by a partner

  • Strategies for managing conflict in a more constructive and less reactive way

  • Skills to apply outside of sessions that support healthier conversations and stronger relationship quality

Participants in this group will learn and practice evidence-based communication strategies, including reflective listening, emotional expression, and constructive conflict resolution.

These classes are rooted in Postural Restoration, a holistic method that uses breathwork and movement patterns to support nervous system regulation and improve the mind-body connection. A regulated nervous system enhances resilience, movement efficiency, and overall health.
